Tryouts

This year's tryouts will be at Canlan Ice Arena from 6-7pm on:

Monday, August 18th

Wednesday, August 20th

When

What time of the year does this program run?

Fall/Winter Season is August - Early March

Where

Canlan Ice Arena in Romeoville is our home rink. All practices and home games will be played at Canlan.

Practices

When are practices and how often are they?

Practices are on Mondays and Wednesdays. There may be additional practices throughout the season as ice becomes available.

Games

How many games will they play? What days of the week?

Teams will play 25-35 games over the course of the season; most usually fall on the weekends.

TOURNAMENTS

How many tournaments does NVHC participate in?

Goal is to have 2-3 tournaments per season; may be in or out of town

Frequently Asked Questions

Where will I find information about making the team after tryouts?

Rosters will posted on this website approximately 1-2 days following tryouts. Players/Parents will receive an Offer to play for NVHC and will need to Accept the offer to officially become a member of the team.
